Celebrate your lady gang

Hey guys! Welcome to my first ever post!!

I have always been one for celebrations! Big or small... I want to celebrate EVERYTHING. New job, Champagne. Your house plant survived another year, Champagne!!

These ladies that you see in this photo have been around for a LONG time. Nine years to be exact. I met these ladies during nursing school and to be honest it wasn't that we sat next to each other in a huge lecture hall. It was a friendship that was built over a course of a year. We shared plenty of tears in our first clinical together. If I can remember correctly we definitely shared plenty of drinks.. Lets just say they have been around and they have seen things.

Every year for about the last four or so years we have made a commitment to each other that we get away to a lake for a girls weekend away. Last summer we decided to go and hit up the mountains in Banff Alberta and celebrate this friendship. We spent the weekend having many snort worthy laughs. Getting caught in the rain, and hiking any reasonable hike we could find.

While driving around in the beautiful scenery of the rockies, we pulled over and started an easy hike up to Peyto Lake. Of course once at the top to end our amazing weekend away we popped a bottle of Champagne!!

I think its the little things in life that really keep you happy and we need to celebrate those moments more often.
